European Car of the Year 2017 victor, the Peugeot 3008 SUV, won the prestigious Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) Car of the Year 2018 award in a glitzy awards ceremony that gathered the automotive industry’s crème de la crème, held earlier this evening at The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Highly acclaimed by judges for its style, interior design and performance, this esteemed title joins over 60 other international awards the Peugeot 3008 SUV has already won. The Peugeot 3008 SUV was awarded ‘European Car of the Year 2017’ at the Geneva Motor Show and two ‘Red Dot Product Design’ awards for its innovative achievements in design. The Peugeot 3008 SUV is also the third Peugeot to win the hononary title of Car of the Year – the Peugeot 308 Turbo and Peugeot RCZ won Car of the Year at the NST-Maybank Car of the Year awards in 2009 and 2011 respectively.

It was also a night to remember for the Naza Group as Kia, one of its automotive franchise brands under the Group, also took home ‘MPV of the Year – Below RM200,000’ for the Kia Grand Carnival 2.2D SX family MPV.
